From product development and production to quality assurance and marketing, KVK’s leadership team is comprised of individuals who are dedicated in upholding the company’s core principles of quality, affordability, and integrity..

 

Anthony Tabasso – President/CEO

Mr. Tabasso holds a B.A. from Cornell University, and a J.D. from Villanova University. Prior to joining KVK-Tech, Mr. Tabasso spent 16 years in private practice at a large Philadelphia law firm, where his practice focused on commercial litigation, business restructuring, and transactional work. After serving as outside counsel for many years, Mr. Tabasso joined KVK as President and CEO in August, 2013. Since that time, Mr. Tabasso’s focus has been on committing KVK to three core values: Regulatory Compliance, Safety, and Productivity. Mr. Tabasso has also dedicated KVK to strengthening its commitment to our customers and supply chain partners.

 

 

Lori Pinkleton – Vice President of Sales and Marketing

Lori Pinkleton has extensive experience in pharmaceutical sales and marketing, with a portion of time spent in other areas of healthcare. Lori has worked in pharmaceutical manufacturing, pharmaceutical sales distribution, and directly within pharmacies and physician offices. Since March 2008, Lori has focused her talents on strengthening KVK-Tech’s customer and sales base as Director of Sales and Marketing.

 

Kevin O’Loughlin, Sr. – Senior Director of Corporate Quality

Kevin holds a B.A. in Biological Sciences and an M.S. in Microbiology/MBA.  Kevin joined KVK-Tech in February 2016 as the Senior Director of Corporate Quality. He has extensive experience in both the brand and generic Pharmaceutical Industry which includes roles in Microbiology, Sterilization, Quality Control/Assurance, Regulatory, Validation, and Manufacturing. Kevin has over 25 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry which includes solid dose, topical, ophthalmic and sterile injectable product manufacture. Prior to KVK-TECH, Kevin worked several years at Bausch and Lomb managing QA, validation and Commercial as well as R&D Stability Programs.  His experience covers both proprietary as well as generic and contract manufacturing environments.

 

Brian Houy – Director of Information Technology

Brian Houy joins KVK Tech as an Information Technology expert who has over 15 years of experience specializing in Cyber Security, Business Continuity and IT/IS Strategy. Carrying numerous awards for his exceptional creativity, innovation and leadership, he is recognized as a leading expert within his field.  Most recently Brian was the Senior Vice President and CIO of Conestoga Bank, where he performed full data security analysis and remediation services, while providing the organization with targeted operational supervision, incident support and emergency disaster recovery.  At KVK, Brian will lead the development and implementation of complex infrastructures and technical solutions to improve business performance, profits and growth.  Brian holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration & Management from Albright College, Reading, PA and alongside other licenses he is a Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP).

 

Sameer Late – Director of Regulatory Affairs and CMC

Sameer joined KVK Tech in June 2016 as the Director of Regulatory Affairs and CMC. In this role, Sameer oversees the regulatory filings from submission to approval, post approval, labeling of ANDA drug products. He is KVK Tech’s liaison with all of our regulatory partners. Sameer brings to KVK Tech 10 years of pharmaceutical industry experience and extensive knowledge in FDA guidance, USP requirements, ICH guidance and GMP compliance as well as extensive knowledge of developing NDA, ANDA and life cycle drug products. Before joining KVK Tech, Sameer worked at FDA’s Main office at Silver Spring, MD and was responsible for reviewing INDs, NDAs, ANDAs and supplements submitted to FDA by pharmaceutical industries. In addition to his experience at FDA, Sameer also worked in the research and development department of GlaxoSmithKline, NJ where he was responsible for formulation development, optimization, scale-up, tech-transfer and submitting regulatory documents for conventional and novel solid oral dosage formulations, Nasal formulations, Topical and Transdermal drug delivery products. Sameer holds Doctorate and Master’s degrees from Mercer University and University of Rhode Island, respectively.

 

Dr. Ranga Namburi – Director, Research and Development

Dr. Namburi joined KVK-Tech Inc. in November 2011 and currently heads the Formulation department.  With over 30 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Research, including Product Development with Analytical Understanding. Dr. Namburi earned his M.S. degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry and Ph.D. in Pharmaceutical Sciences.

 

Lakshmi Nammalvar – Director of Operations

Lakshmi joined KVK-Tech in January 2011 as a Technical Services Manager, and later advanced to Director of Operations in 2015. Lakshmi has over 14 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry including Product Development, Technical Operations, Manufacturing, Packaging, and Supply Chain. Prior to joining KVK-TECH, he has worked with Novel Laboratories and Par Pharmaceuticals. Lakshmi earned his Bachelor degree in Pharmacy.

 

Ashvin Panchal – Director of Quality

Ashvin has both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Pharmacy with Quality Assurance Major. Ashvin joined KVK-Tech in June 2004 as Quality Assurance Manager, and was later promoted to Director of Quality. Ashvin has over 19 years of experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry including Medicinal Chemistry, Quality Control, Analytical Research & Development, and QA/RA divisions. Prior to KVK-TECH worked with Actavis LLC and Torrent Research Center.

John W. Dietrich, Ph.D. – Clinical Development Consultant

Dr. Dietrich is in charge of our clinical development programs. He received his Ph.D. in pharmacology from the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill and spent five years on the faculty at the University of Illinois School Of Medicine. He’s held positions of Director and Vice President of R&D at various pharmaceutical companies and brings his expertise in designing preclinical and clinical studies to KVK.
